Thank you for choosing The Green Cupcake. Every cake is individually designed and handcrafted to celebrate your special occasion. Please read these Custom Order Terms before placing your order.

1. Booking Your Order

Your booking is confirmed once:

• Your design has been agreed.
• The quoted price has been accepted.
• Any required booking deposit has been paid.
• You have received confirmation from The Green Cupcake.

Orders are accepted subject to availability.

2. Design Consultation

We'll work closely with you to create a cake that reflects your ideas, theme and celebration.

You are welcome to provide inspiration photographs. These are used as a guide only, and every cake is created in The Green Cupcake's own style. Exact copies of another baker's work cannot be guaranteed.

3. Design Approval

Before your order is completed, the agreed design, colours, size, flavours and wording will be confirmed.

It is your responsibility to ensure all spellings, dates and design details are correct.

Once approved, any later changes may not be possible and may incur additional charges.

4. Handmade Nature of Our Cakes

Every cake is individually handmade.

Small variations in colour, decoration, texture, sugar flowers, piping, hand-painted details and finishes are a natural part of handcrafted work and make each cake unique.

These variations are not considered faults.

5. Colours

While every effort is made to match requested colours, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.

Lighting, edible colouring and printing processes may affect the final appearance.

Very dark colours (including black, navy and deep red) require additional food colouring and may temporarily stain mouths, hands or clothing.

6. Size & Servings

Serving guides are estimates based on standard celebration cake portions.

Actual serving numbers may vary depending on how the cake is cut.

Customers are responsible for choosing an appropriate cake size for their event.

7. Flavours & Fillings

All cakes are baked fresh to order using quality ingredients.

Where ingredients become unavailable, we will contact you to discuss a suitable alternative before proceeding.

8. Fresh Flowers

If fresh flowers are requested, they will be prepared with food-safe barriers wherever possible.

Please note that many fresh flowers are not edible and must be removed before serving.

9. Cake Toppers & Decorations

Customer-supplied toppers or decorations are used at the customer's own risk.

We cannot accept responsibility for defects, damage or delays caused by third-party decorations.

10. Structural Supports

Many celebration cakes contain:

• Wooden or plastic dowels
• Internal supports
• Cake boards
• Wires
• Decorative picks
• Non-edible toppers

These must all be removed before serving.

11. Collection

Customers should transport cakes on a completely flat surface, ideally in the boot or footwell of a vehicle.

Avoid placing cakes on seats, laps or angled surfaces.

Responsibility for the cake transfers to the customer once it has been collected.

12. Delivery

Where delivery has been arranged, responsibility transfers to the customer once the cake has been safely handed over.

Please inspect your cake at the time of delivery.

13. Storage

Cakes should be stored in accordance with the care instructions provided.

Incorrect storage may affect appearance, freshness and structural stability.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused after collection or delivery due to incorrect storage or handling.

14. Allergies

Please read our separate Allergen Information Policy before placing your order.

Customers must inform us of any allergies before confirming their booking.

Because our products are prepared in a kitchen that handles multiple allergens, we cannot guarantee that any product is free from allergens.

15. Photographs

We love sharing our creations.

Unless requested otherwise, we may photograph your cake for use on our website, portfolio and social media.

Customer names and personal information will never be shared without permission.

16. Cancellations & Refunds

Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for full details regarding cancellations and refunds.

17. Right to Refuse an Order

The Green Cupcake reserves the right to decline any order that:

• Cannot be completed to our quality standards.
• Contains offensive, discriminatory or unlawful content.
• Cannot be safely transported or constructed.
• Falls outside our available capacity.

18. Customer Responsibility

By placing an order, you confirm that:

• All information you have provided is accurate.
• You have checked names, dates and spellings.
• You have informed us of any allergies or dietary requirements.
• You understand the handmade nature of bespoke cakes.
• You accept these Custom Order Terms together with our Terms & Conditions and other website policies.
