At The Green Cupcake, we are committed to providing clear and accurate allergen information to help our customers make informed choices.
As all of our cakes are handmade to order in a home-based kitchen, we take food safety seriously and follow good hygiene practices. However, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens due to the shared preparation environment.
Allergens Used in Our Kitchen
Our kitchen regularly handles ingredients containing:
- Milk
- Eggs
- Wheat (Gluten)
- Soy
- Peanuts
- Tree Nuts (including almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, pecans and pistachios)
- Sesame
- Sulphites (found in some ingredients such as dried fruit, flavourings or decorations)
Other allergens may also be present depending on seasonal ingredients and supplier products.
Cross-Contamination
Although we clean equipment thoroughly and take reasonable precautions to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, all products are prepared in the same kitchen.
For this reason, we cannot guarantee that any product is free from allergens.
If you have a severe food allergy or have been advised by a healthcare professional to avoid even trace amounts of an allergen, we recommend that you do not consume our products.
Ingredient Information
We are happy to provide ingredient and allergen information for any of our products before you place an order.
Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when making your enquiry.
Dietary Requests
We may be able to offer cakes suitable for certain dietary preferences, such as vegetarian or reduced-allergen recipes.
However, unless explicitly stated otherwise, our products are not certified as:
- Gluten-free
- Dairy-free
- Egg-free
- Nut-free
- Vegan
Even when recipes are made without a particular allergen, they are prepared in a kitchen where those allergens are present.
Customer Responsibility
It is the customer's responsibility to:
- Inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements before placing an order.
